Trudy Hickey wears a number of hats for the Council, serving as both Grants Manager and Office Manager for the organization. In addition, she serves as backup for the bookkeeper, makes arrangements for Board meetings, and supervises special projects like the 2005 Maine state tour of the Smithsonian Institution’s traveling exhibit Barn Again! Celebrating an American Icon. Trudy has a B.A. in Art from the University of Southern Maine plus many years of experience in public relations and advertising production before entering the world of non-profits. Before joining the Council in 1998, she worked ten years at the Maine Council of Churches. Her outside interests include painting, genealogy, history, literature, and gardening. She and her rambunctious cat live in Westbrook.
