Co-founders of Northeast Historic Film, Bucksport, Maine, in honor of their preservation and interpretation of New England’s moving image history.

An event co-sponsored by the Maine Humanities Council and the Frannie Peabody Center, Portland Dr. Campo teaches at Harvard Medical School and at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. He is author of four books of poetry and two essay collections, dealing with such subjects as his medical practice, his Cuban heritage, and his identity as a gay man. He will be in Maine to speak at a conference hosted by the Council’s Literature & Medicine program.
