Offer Let's Talk About It in Your Library

Application Deadline: May 15

Let's Talk About It, the Maine Humanities Council's free, scholar-led reading and discussion program, has an application deadline of May 15, 2002, for programs beginning in the summer/fall. A simple application will be available on our web site in mid-April. Libraries will also receive an application form by mail.

Thanks to a generous grant from the Belvedere Fund of the Maine Community Foundation, the Council is able to make one of our oldest and most popular public programs even better.

For more information on Let's Talk About It, please contact Lizz Sinclair at or at (207) 773-5051. For a list of the 35 series available, please see this link.

"Rockland's Working Waterfront", an exhibit at the Island Institute on Maine's fishing industry at the turn of the last century, was supported by the Council under the New Century Community Program.
