Winter Weekend—Sponsorship

Winter Weekend sponsorships help support the Maine Humanities Council’s New Books, New Readers adult literacy program. While it would take many years for a new reader to reach the level of reading confidence he or she would need to get through War and Peace, the program goes far in helping these ambitious adults develop a love of, and not just a capacity for, reading.
