Sarah Franklin

Sarah Franklin is a long time high school English teacher who left Cape Elizabeth to teach overseas for a couple years at the International School of Prague, then returned to Maine to explore the life of the retired. She has volunteered for organizations such as the Maine Humanities Council and the Compass Project, has served as an instructor of “Sudden Fiction” at OLLI and “Memoir” at Cape Elizabeth Adult Education, and as a facilitator for numerous Maine Humanities Council Let’s Talk About It series. For the last five years she has taught just one course (the ideal load!) in Advanced Placement English at Portland High, dabbled in research and taking courses. Her B.A. is from Bates, her M.A.T. from Harvard.
