Prof. John Bear Mitchell | Wabanaki Stories and Contemporary Culture

Join us at Millinocket Memorial Library on November 15th at 3PM for a presentation on Wabanaki Storytelling and Contemporary Culture by Professor John Bear Mitchell. Professor Mitchell is a Lecturer of Wabanaki Studies at the University of Maine and he is a citizen of the Penobscot Nation. This talk is one of a 3-part series at Millinocket Memorial Library on the Wabanaki history of the Katahdin Region, which is part of the traditional homelands of the Penobscot Nation. This series was made possible with grant funding from the Maine Humanities Council.
