THE NEwest Version of Our Reading and Discussion Program

Professionally facilitated and grounded in books

Introducing Book Group, the newest version of Maine Humanities’ reading and discussion program!

Born To Read, New Books New Readers, Let’s Talk About It, Lit & Med, Veterans Book Group, Discussion Project…since Maine Humanities opened its doors 50 years ago, book groups have been the core of what we do. Our book groups have always aimed to be responsive to people’s needs, meet the moment, and provide intentional spaces for listening, wondering and noticing across Maine’s communities.

We hope Book Group makes it simple and easy in this current moment to bring people together for facilitated discussions grounded in books.
