Not a Long Term Fix
To be clear: This support is stabilizing in the short term. It is not a long-term fix. Funding from the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) makes up approximately 69% of our annual budget. The termination of our NEH operating grant and the dismantling of NEH has impacted our 2025 budget to the tune of $525,000. $50,000 in matched funds will help us continue our work through the end of the fiscal year and will keep us steady while we wait to see what’s next in the landscape of federal funding.
