Maine Museum of Innovation, Learning and Labor

Join us for a conversation centered around three unique objects that can be viewed as art and as tools for daily life. We will examine the ways our understanding of artistry, industry, and personal identity have changed over time in a conversation facilitated by Joe Hall, Associate Professor of History at Bates College. Participants will be encouraged to share their personal insight as we explore these themes and learn from each other’s perspectives. This conversation is part of a pilot series in partnership with Maine MILL that will help Maine Humanities Council develop future community history offerings.
