The Telling Room | Big Night

Big Night is an annual celebration of young authors published by The Telling Room in the past year. In 2024, Big Night will include a book fair with sales and signings, author readings from our brand new anthology This Moment and the Next, a bingo game, and award announcements. The writing in This Moment and the Next is a call to memory, joy, connection, and action, offering us explorations of family, growing up, transformation, identity, racism, learning, and the always-unfinished understanding of what it takes to be seen. Pull up a camp chair and spread out a picnic blanket for this fun, free event, and join in congratulating Maine’s newest authors! The event is open to the public at 5 PM and student performances will start at 5:30. Light snacks and refreshments provided, but bringing a picnic dinner is encouraged.
