TRANSCENDENCE: Monster Beauties Book Launch

Maine's first transgender poetry anthology published by Pink Eraser Press through the generous funding of the USM GRO Scholarship. This event is also supported by a Maine Humanities Council Major Grant, as it serves as the launch of the Transcendence Poetry Festival. What to expect? Book giveaway, catered poet's reception, multi-media performances including comedy, poetry, music, puppetry, improvisational dance, live art, complimentary food and beverages, and more. Resource tables will be present from Maine Writers & Publishers Alliance, The Telling Room, the ACLU, and our fiscal sponsor, MaineTransNet. We will also have The Lucky Fox Bookshop in the building offering more trans literary options and handing out copies of Monster Beauties.
